CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

I used to walk past Second Wind for years until I mustered the courage to try it. I thought I was too out of shape even to try it, but it turned out that CrossFit is an amazing counterbalance to my day job; As a web developer, most of my work days are spent working solo on a computer, so getting into the gym to get moving felt great. But it was the people that really drew me in. The SW community is a collection of funny, smart, and encouraging people, and I love the vibe of relaxed camaraderie.

Personally, I've achieved things I never thought possible and learned mental toughness through hard workouts. Some of my most meaningful friendships were forged at the gym. Having received so much, my biggest motivation to become a coach was the desire to give back to the community.

My favorite part of coaching is encouraging athletes as they (safely) push themselves during met-cons. And being in charge of the playlist is an added bonus, which means you might hear music from Johnny Cash to Metallica, or go from Queen to ZZ Top. Come on in and let's rock the workout together!
