Thank you for your continued patience, understanding and support.

When Mayor Bowser announced the District will be moving to Phase 2 on Monday, we noticed a change in the requirement for gyms that athletes be set 10-feet apart. This threw us off just a bit as we had to re-adjust what we planned. It also sets our class size limit to 6 instead of 7.

So we need a little more time. This coming week, we will

  • set up the gym with marked off athlete stations
  • set up sanitizing equipment at each station
  • finalize an initial schedule for both indoor, outdoor and zoom classes
  • run a “training session” workout with coaches

We will re-open with a limited class schedule on Monday, June 29.

More information will follow next week.

Videos in SugarWOD
On another note, starting this Monday, the Workout of the Day in SugarWOD will have a link to a full-length video of that workout. For those who can’t make the Zoom WODs, you might find this helpful to follow along if you are doing the workout on your own.

T-shirt Fundraiser
Thanks to all who purchased t-shirts to support the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. We exceeded $1,000 in contributions. Your shirts will arrive around July 4 weekend. We’ll let you know when they do so you can pick them up.

Stay tuned…we are excited to get back to doing what we do!
